Beautiful Redware Jar
Pennsylvania, circa 1840. A jar of remarkable, subtle beauty, it presents surface tones both rich and delicate: an attractive three toned coloration, created in the hot kiln with natural oxides. The jar's hues are intertwined abstract waves and ripples of green, tan and salmon, including several random small, circular bursts of salmon. Condition is excellent. 8" tall, 19" diameter
